Miller’s Bio
My name is Miller Templeton. Of the 70-odd years I’ve been alive, only the first 18 have not been associated with Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia. Even though my primary education was there (Physics, Nuclear Science & Nuclear Engineering), much of the contents of this website comes from my being educated in Counseling & Psychology at Georgia State University.
I went to work at Georgia Tech right out of grad school, retiring after 30 years of service (1968 – 1998). During those years, my mission was essentially “helping Tech students to achieve their goals” – first as Assistant Dean of Students then as Director of the Office of International Education. Although I’m now retired, I still serve Tech students in volunteer capacities.
Over the years, I have developed much information that helps young adults (ages 17 – 24) lead more successful, effective & productive lives. It’s all here in this website – for the benefit of young adults everywhere.
